College life is always fun but with professors who are amazing it just makes it so much more interesting. My fine arts professor is one such person. His classes were what we looked forward to at the end of the day, during 1st year. This painting came from one such class when he gave us a plethora of paintings to learn from. For some reason I ended up painting a lot of birds. Painting this was really interesting because he taught me to create textures using watercolours, in this case the feathers. I had always assumed that watercolours are too free willed to be manipulated, one of the things I learnt from him is that it is this flow that makes a watercolour painting unique and the secret lies in how you use the flow in creating textures you want. Thank you Ranjit sir .:)
